being back from the tour
unpacking our bags & trying to
put all these beautiful impressions

shows in july throughout germany & soon oh soon
the new grenadine album will be released via solaris empire -
so once more we are excited about this summmer and about all
the things that happen to the sister and her permanently growing family -

apart from mentioning
that strange strange weather
a lot of things have happened within
the last few weeks & we are happy to announce
that the new grenadine album is mixed & mastered
& on it´s way out of the presswerk right into our hands!
needless to say that we are happy & thankful & full of excitement
about that fact as we also look forward to the trio unplugged tour this summer -

but before we pack our bags
you got the chance to see us play
a show in berlin this friday at gelegenheiten
with the great multilingual queer tango duo leiseylento -
so come along to listen as we are happy to sing our songs for you!

which means that a couple of songs from the new album
are online by now - so please feel free to listen to them & to
spread the word for grenadine & her family if you feel like it -

springy spring now
and us being a little hyper
about everyone & everything so
this is the early morning coffee moment
where we take our chance to send you a little
update of the sister´s activities -

all songs are recorded by now and the first versions
sound beautiful and make our hearts kind of
jump up & down in this unmistakable mix
of euphoria and impatience -

also there are plans for the summer
which will take us on a trio unplugged tour
south of here & east of here so please check

in the meantime we willl keep you posted about
what´s going on with the new grenadine album

drip drip
as the rain falls
drop drop onto our heads
a monday morning full of memories
of surely being happy entering the stage
in cosy beautiful pink hasenschaukel (hamburg) and
huge wooden gdr hallways (rostock) and all the driving and
the singing and some animals in the snow und sprünge in der schüssel
and now off off we go into the studio to record our songs oh just pour vous!

dear all,
now that there is lots of snow
and giant icicles near our window,
now that we enjoy riding our bike through
the cold & clear kreuzberg nights where eventually
police officers would stop us to explain that having no light
is oh so dangerous for us & all the car drivers around and now that
we do not walk along the canal but ON the canal to get to the bakery
where they sell walnut bread & chai tea & a chocolate cake called “kalte schnauze” -
that very now makes us sing along with the grenadine sides of winter
and helps us doing tape recordings of new sister compositions
and takes us closer to days getting longer & colours getting
brighter & pathways becoming visible again -

on something smart that you suggest
and invite you over to the first acoustic show this year:

in leipzig next week - grenadine will sing
some of her acoustic songs & give a go to our

early october will bring us to Jena,
a place where we haven´t been in twenty years
and where we will perform both our electric & our acoustic songs -

at the end of october there will be a great event in neuköllns frühperle
where ”a dead louise” will celebrate his & her record being released:
on that very evening you can witness a collaboration of
many artist friends doing music & poetry & visual
performances, so don´t miss it!

Hamburgs lovely acoustic festival
called Melodica - three days of music
from all over the world and lots of great people
to meet, so definitely worth a trip in case you don´t live there yet -
